Cyrus Artisan Rugs was founded in 1988, when brothers Arya and Alex Farahan brought  the company to Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The rug merchant tradition has been a part of the Farahan family for five generations.  Beginning in Iran, the family business has migrated through the years,  having had showrooms around the world from London to New York.  Such accomplishment results from generations of well respected, skilled and detailed work as we have made distinctive and decorative carpets our identity and our life. Because the company has years of experience in the rug industry, Cyrus can offer their clients in the Twin Cities the very best in handmade designer area rugs and carpets from around the world.  The custom program of Cyrus allows clients to create original pieces of art to symbolize a breadth of architectural styles and personal tastes by offering the opportunity to customize colors, fibers and dimensions of any rug.
