Rug Cleaning

Handmade wool and/or silk rugs need to be professionally cleaned every 5 to 7 years to keep the fibers lustrous and free of build up. Our professional rug cleaner is the best in the local industry, skilled with decades of experience with both new and antique rugs.  Once a rug is dropped off at our showroom, the average turn around time until the rug is finished is approximately 10 days.  We can pick up and deliver your rug for an additional fee.  Please call our showroom for details and estimates.  For at-home spot cleaning, we recommend the following guidelines for wool rugs:

Rug Repairs

Repairing handmade rugs is done in-house.  Workmanship includes: replacing or removing fringe, reweaving holes or damaged areas, re-dyeing wool, and repairing binding.  Please call the showroom for an estimate.

Rug Appraisals

Appraisals of your fine rugs are done in-house and can be used for insurance purposes.  Please bring your rug to the showroom, where our certified appraiser can determine its value, and provide a certificate of authenticity for an additional fee.
